The cover image for Anything That Loves, at last! As well as an image of the inside covers; the book will have John Lustig’s “Last Kiss” comics (one of which has been the “face” of ATL for this Kickstarter) as endpapers.
The Kickstarter to fund the printing of the book and other Northwest Press projects will be open for another two weeks. Consider it a preorder, and grab a copy of the book before anyone else! :-D

Dunedin Pride
I lived in Dunedin for about 8 years. It is an amazing place, and I found many people there who are now part of my Queer Family (including Joe!). Dunedin is a small town in the South Island of New Zealand, and is fairly rural. My cool friends are now organising a Dunedin Pride! I can’t stress how important it is to have a pride festival in Dunedin!! I think it’ll be amazing, PLUS Joe is performing!!! The problem is that there are just 9 days left to get their pledgeme campaign (like kickstarter, but for kiwis), and they still need about $1ooo more dollars. SO PLEASE SHARE, DONATE, AND SHARE AGAIN!! Also their video is super cute, and filled with queer family loves of mine :D :D So, yeh, help us out! It’s such a great cause, and if you’ve ever lived in a small rural town and wanted it to be safer for Queer people - then this is a campaign that will directly do that for Dunedin. So that’s awesome. Yeh… ok.

Rainbow Youth and OutlineNZ are desperately trying to keep up with increasing demand.
Currently these organisations are being accessed by all of New Zealand, from young people, to parents, friends and family members, schools, community organisations, councilors, university’s, doctors - the list is long and varied.
With very little funding staff cuts have already been made and we are now doing everything we can to create a sustainable future for these two crucial organizations.

FebFasting - Help Queer Youth

So folks - this year I’ll be participating in FebFast to help raise money for Rainbow Youth. I feel super passionate about this organisation, and have been volunteering for them since I moved up to Auckland. They have a drop in centre, education programme, run huis groups and events - and just generally support queer and trans young people in Auckland, and across New Zealand. So, yeh, I signed up to be a part of their team, and I’m really keen to help raise their target goal of $35,000… we’ve currently raised 1.8% of that amount - so we still have a ways to go.
